AFTERCARE

Aquaphor/ Lubriderm

-Unwrap tattoo in about an hour after session and wash gently with Dial Gold Antibacterial Soap

-Pat dry with a paper towel and allow to air dry for a few minutes

-Apply thin layer of Ointment on tattoo, and repeat previous steps for 3 days, 3 times a day.

-After the 3rd day, swap to Lubriderm for 2 weeks with the previous steps

-I shall apply the derm shield after our session, it will be left on for 5-7 days unbothered

-If the bandage leaks, take a paper towel and drain from the center to the leaking area until it stops leaking.

-Remove bandage in shower under warm water to loosen the adhesive, and wash with Dial Gold.

-Apply Lubriderm onto the tattoo for another week

-IF water collects in the bandage during the period remove immediately, wash with Dial Gold and apply Lubriderm onto tattoo until healed.

-NO POOL, BEACH, SAUNA, JACUZZI, OR ANY PUBLIC BODY OF WATER FOR 3 WEEKS

-Limit sun exposure as much as possible for 3 weeks, and protect skin with sunblock after its healed

-Shower like normal, use Dial Gold to clean tattoo and use a paper towel to dry the tattoo

-No gym for at least 1 week.

-Do not use Neosporin or Vaseline

-Do not use any soaps with alcohol, parabens, or fragrances

-Replace towels and bed sheets with fresh sheets and towels to limit bacteria exposure.
